With a lot folks still staying home, a lot of us have been spending more time at home watching TV and listening to music. These holidays it makes sense to give your loved ones something that will help bring their entertainment to life. Whether it's a soundbar for the games room, a new AV receiver for the home theater system or a new turntable for a vinyl enthusiast, there's something here for practically everyone.
Before you buy: You might want to wait for some new products (and sales) that were just announced or expected imminently.
New Amazon Echo speakers: Amazon just unveiled new Echo speakers, starting at $50. These models will begin to become available in October.
New Roku mini soundbar: The Roku Streambar is a small soundbar with a built-in 4K video streamer. This $130 gadget could be a great upgrade for older TVs in secondary rooms.
Prime Day starts Oct. 13: Don't buy now if you can wait just a few more days. Those new Echo speakers listed above will almost certainly be discounted during Amazon's big Prime Day sale, which runs Oct. 13 and 14 this year. Many of the products below may well be discounted, too. Walmart and Target are also running sales during that time, and we expect more retailers to join in.
And now, on to the top audio gifts you can get right now.
