Curious choice of SD and CFExpress slots. Considering the price point, I don’t really understand it.
Eye-controlled AF sounds like it might not only provide a fast way of selecting or changing what to track, but also a way for the camera to basically disregard the part of the image you’re not looking at, perhaps improving tracking reliability.
Curious to see what the Z9 will bring to the table. Higher resolution is a given, perhaps at the same framerate. But while rumors have it they are substantially improving the AF, and working on car AF as well, I’m not sure we’ll see eye-control AF. Being a Nikon user I want to say I see it as a niche thing, but the apparent intuitiveness and speed of it, when held against the comparatively more clumsy joystick or even center focus/recompose method, does stand out to me. Looking forward to reading more about it.
Otherwise I’m half expecting a comment by a Pentaxian, saying it’s obsolete because it doesn’t have astrotracer or more than 24MP.
